Bermuda Theatre Festival

This is a piece I completed as part of a grab-bag assignment, and exploration of addition and balance in design.

I was assigned “Bermuda” and “Theatre Festival”, and explored the ways in which I could attractively and cohesively advertise this hypothetical event.

After some research, I learned about the importance of triangles already present in Bermuda’s own graphic design campaign, as well as the popularity of snorkelling tours, and the seabirds locally known as “Longtails”.

I converted the well-known masks of Drama and Comedy (representing the theatre), the Longtails, the sea, and the snorkel bubbles to appear as if they are made of triangles; and added simple, colourful, line drawings of snorkeling goggles onto Drama and Comedy to represent the vibrant culture Bermuda has to offer.
